Personality decides
The X4P principle
Personality decides: There are 4 decisive personality traits for EXECUTIVES:
P = People Centricity. People-oriented, ethically exemplary behaviour.
P = Purpose. The people in the company must recognise and love the meaning and benefits of their work.
P = Passion. Only those who lead with a great passionated “will to win” can inspire teams to achieve common goals.
P = Performance. A clear and shared focus on results for ambitious but realistic objectives is the DNA of all successful companies.
Only managers who possess these four qualities and have proven them repeatedly and successfully in previous roles are eligible for X4P recruiting.

The X4P quality guarantee
As the founder and shareholder of X4P GmbH, I guarantee the highest quality of my recruiting approach through decades of experience as a top manager, entrepreneur and advisory board member. All these different perspectives on leadership teams have led to the development of the X4P principle. Applied without compromise, this principle is the breeding ground for long-term corporate success and the driving force behind the flywheel of a fascinating, winning corporate culture.
"The success of a company depends entirely on the personalities of its leadership team."
Bernd Eckel
About me
As a manager of family owned companies, I was able to experience the positive pull and power of the “winning culture”. Learning from the best entrepreneurs and managers is a privilege and has shaped me.
As an entrepreneur in the private equity environment, I was able to successfully expand and round off my personality and skills profile. This was also a privilege for me.
As a chairman and member of advisory boards, I have experienced the relevance of governance. An experience that supports my thesis that success of companies depends on the personalities of their leadership team – and only on their personality.
Executive recruiting according to the X4P principle
The preparation
The success of the recruitment lies in the preparation of the search. It starts with analysing the current corporate culture: How is this culture shaped and how is it lived and perceived across hierarchies and functions? This analysis cannot be delegated. I carry it out in close consultation with the client.
The cultural analysis essentially determines the requirements profile as the next step in the search process. There must be absolute agreement between the client and X4P on this profile.
The search process
The search process itself takes place in close communication with the client and with regular information to the client, so that there is total transparency regarding the process status at all times.
Of course, I also accompany the interviews of the client and the selected executives on request.
The assessment
No recruitment without a professional management psychology assessment. I work together with one of Germany's leading psychologists for personnel management. The reliability and accuracy of the results of these assessments are amazing and therefore an integral part of the X4P process.
The X4P onboarding support
Too many newly hired executives leave a company too quickly, whether intentionally or unintentionally. The main reason for this is a lack of or inadequate onboarding. This is why X4P supports the executive and the client during the first six months so that everyone involved can achieve what was intended at the start of the partnership.
This 360-degree view is part of the X4P principle - staying in contact with candidates, clients and the team.
